This is an 11” x 5 ½” x 11” oval Nantucket Lightship Basket Tote Purse; it is constructed of hand-milled Birdseye Maple with premium fine 1.75mm weavers. It has two leather rounded handles. It has a silk Nantucket Red Plaid liner. It has a natural ivory plug in the interior base and a ¾” natural ivory scrimshaw artist’s medallion in the exterior base. It has hand-carved natural ivory dome knobs. It has 2” oval natural ivory scrimshaw depicting floral marine life countersunk into a Birdseye Maple back plate then mounted on the basket.
